ACQUISITION CONSULTING
MATEC brings years of FAR required technical evaluation and negotiation support to your
organization. Members of MATEC have supported NAVAIR, NASA, Joint Strike Fighter Program
(F-35) , NAVSEA, and SOCOM. MATEC has DAWIA Certifications in Contracting, Cost Estimating,
Financial Management, and Program Management.
FOCUSED TRAINING
Members of MATEC have provided acquisition training to multiple Government entities. Topics of
training sessions included: Technical Evaluations, Independent Government Cost Estimate (IGCE)
creation, Learning Curves, Microsoft Excel, and various other topics.
TECHNICAL CONSULTING
MATEC has a vast experience in various technical disciplines. MATEC members have expertise in the Navy Nuclear Propulsion Program and NASA programs. MATEC has experience in process improvement techniques such as Lean Six Sigma.
FINANCIAL CONSULTING
Members of MATEC have experience in all phases of the federal budgeting process, from developing
detailed analysis in support the President’s Budget Request, through monitoring, analysis, and
reporting on the status of budget execution. MATEC has performed evaluations of program
performance and how that performance may influence decisions concerning budgetary levels and
stakeholder’s expectations. MATEC has performed evaluations regarding programmatic impacts to
differing budget levels, continuing resolution scenarios and the potential cash flow anomalies that
these could cause, as well as the potential impact to program execution and schedule. MATEC
members have experience in responding to Congressional and Office of Management and Budget
(OMB) inquiries regarding budget formulation and execution, as well as developing Congressional
Justifications in support of the President’s Budget Request.
